All these years, we have learned several things about these hypothetical beings from another world – Aliens are highly advanced extraterrestrial beings, they have deep knowledge in the fields of psychology and psychiatry; using their knowledge they have gained the skills to manipulate and control people. At times, they land on earth and abduct human beings, secretly. Owing to the large volume of people claiming to have experienced alien abductions, we find a strong reason to believe in the existence of aliens. There are almost a hundred alien abduction stories that are very much compelling; they seem to persist in our culture. If aliens really exist, which place do they belong to? Is it Zeta Reticuli? There is a Zeta Reticuli incident which compels people to believe that the aliens have their home in this star system. What is Zeta Reticuli? Zeta Reticuli is a wide binary star system in the southern hemisphere’s sky. It is a diamond shaped constellation which lacks bright stars. However, people have viewed Zeta Reticuli, in the dark sky, without a telescope for centuries. It was undoubtedly discovered long back, but the conspiracy theory around Zeta Reticuli of being identified as a home of aliens made this constellation of stars very popular. The ufological communities and conspiracy theorists have given the name to hypothetical Zeta Reticulians as  Grey aliens. However, the theory of Zeta Reticulians cannot be completely retired as fiction because almost  43 percent of the alien encounters in the United States claim the existence of Grey aliens.  Those that claim of abductions depict the greys as dark grey -skinned extraterrestrial beings that lack human organs such as noses, ears, or sex organs. They have visible skeletal structure, though. Credit- The-Inquisitr The famous Zeta Reticuli Incident The idea of grey aliens of Zeta Reticuli came into existence with the famous Zeta Reticuli Incident. The legend is of the abduction of Barney and Betty Hill. In the year 1961, a couple was driving back home – at night – after a holiday in Canada. On the way, they noticed some weird flash of light in the sky. Barney and Betty Hill thought of it like a falling star. Gradually, that light started moving closer to them until it was hovering right above their car. Barney decided to get out of the car, carrying his binoculars. What Barney saw send him the chills down his spine. He became astonished when he saw that 10-11  humanoid creatures were watching him from the alleged UFO. Badly terrified, Barney, along with his wife, fled the scene. However, the aliens had mysteriously abducted the duo, making them run through a series of strange incidents. Credit – deusnexus Throughout their drive, they kept on feeling a buzzing sensation; as if the aliens were following their car invisible. Finally, they returned to their home in New Hampshire where they realized that their four-hour drive converted into a seven-hour journey. However, the couple was not able to account for the missing time. Meanwhile, they noticed that their clothes were torn, and their watches had stopped working. With an uneasy feeling, they took long showers to avoid possible contamination. The couple tried to recall the incident and sketched it, and the two came up with the strikingly similar drawings. What happened next? Perplexed Betty and Barney, tried to seek some comfort through sleep. When Betty got up from the sleep, she recalled an incident of being examined by aliens – one of them were thrusting a needle into her navel. She even recovered one of her dresses to have sprinkled upon with pink powder. The couple noticed their car to have shiny, concentric circles on its trunk. What Barney and Betty had experienced became impossible for the people to accept; however, the laboratories conducted the forensic analyses on the dress. According to the details of this Zeta Reticuli incident that were mentioned in John G. Fuller’s ‘The Interrupted Journey (Dial Press, 1966),’ the most amazing aspect of the unusual encounter remained that the Hills remembered virtually nothing of the incident. It is natural for us to think of them as fabricating the story, but a number of scientists have questioned them They could find no evidence of them lying.  Stanton T. Friedman, a nuclear physicist, and scientist had spent many years with the Hills. He stated, “By no stretch of the imagination could anyone who knows them conclude that they were nuts.” When the absence of proof makes the story of Barney and Betty’s alien abduction appear a kind of made-up story, many others have also claimed the encounters with the aliens of Zeta Reticuli. While interviewing for a TV documentary, Bob Lazar (he claimed Area 51 as a secret UFO research facility) suggested he helped in the reverse-engineering of a UFO, which had come from the vicinity of Zeta Reticuli. Another claim circulated that a secret exchange program, known as Project Serpo, sent 12 men from Earth to Serpo.  The planet Serpo is an alleged planet in Zeta Reticuli. Are there any prospects for life in Zeta Reticuli? Zeta Reticuli consists of the two star – Zeta 1 and Zeta 2.  While Zeta 1 is a G3 glass star which is slightly smaller, cooler and more orange than the Sun, Zeta 2 is completely identical to the Sun. When both the stars are similar to the Sun, with the presence of suitable planets in the star system, life is possible there. So, there could be grey men on any Zeta Reticulum planet. However, according to discoveries made to this date, no planet exists around either star.
