I certainly do my share of remembering, remembering my parents, never forgetting the valuable lessons they taught me. I also always remember the Holocaust, how it affected my family’s and my life, and that of millions of others. But remembering alone, unlike for many Holocaust survivors, is not enough for me. Remembering also has to have a present and a future perspective. Understanding the enormity of the consequences of the Holocaust and the enormity of social indifference have taught me never to silently allow social indifference to permit a similar tragedy to befall anyone, anywhere.Hedy Epstein Except as otherwise noted, this site is Copyright © 2023 by Dianne M.
