The only thing certain is that it's NOT because a lack of tour customers; it would still easily get enough tourists to pay for the tour buses, docents, etc for at least another season.   Reactions: Beachlover and crashbandicoot OP G goldnsilver Jr. Member Jun 25, 2010 97 194 Maryland Detector(s) used Whites Beach Hunter ID Vintage 1980's Whites Goldmaster Whites Coinmaster Primary Interest: All Treasure Hunting May 15, 2022 Thread Starter Thread starter #4 Singlestack Wonder said: Season 10 was probably cancelled. Yesterday - Two new construction trailers. My guess is a busy work schedule that keeps the public out.   Reactions: Beachlover, Sandscoopdan, Radon and 2 others S Singlestack Wonder Bronze Member Mar 28, 2014 1,679 2,577 Detector(s) used Garrett AT Pro Primary Interest: All Treasure Hunting May 15, 2022 #5 So construction begins on the long awaited hoax island amusement park.   Reactions: eyemustdigtreasure, garren, Raymodj and 16 others OP G goldnsilver Jr. Member Jun 25, 2010 97 194 Maryland Detector(s) used Whites Beach Hunter ID Vintage 1980's Whites Goldmaster Whites Coinmaster Primary Interest: All Treasure Hunting May 15, 2022 Thread Starter Thread starter #6 Singlestack Wonder said: So construction begins on the long awaited hoax island amusement park. Click to expand... Oak Island was closed to the public much earlier than 2020. The exception were tours by Oak Island & The Friends of Oak Island tours. The causeway has been posted with signs and years ago a swinging gate. Nothing has really kept the public from driving across the causeway. I think the "2022 Closed to the Public" will meant just that.   Attachments 280737244_564673448354931_2442912645862443997_n.jpg 406.6 KB · Views: 103 IMG_3293.jpg 453 KB · Views: 110 no-trespassing.jpg 88.8 KB · Views: 110 Reactions: Beachlover S Singlestack Wonder Bronze Member Mar 28, 2014 1,679 2,577 Detector(s) used Garrett AT Pro Primary Interest: All Treasure Hunting May 18, 2022 #16 Can't imagine people feel a need to go to oak island as 200 years of digging have proven oak island is the longest running hoax in history.   Reactions: Beachlover, Emil W and Riverbum OP G goldnsilver Jr. Member Jun 25, 2010 97 194 Maryland Detector(s) used Whites Beach Hunter ID Vintage 1980's Whites Goldmaster Whites Coinmaster Primary Interest: All Treasure Hunting May 18, 2022 Thread Starter Thread starter #17 Singlestack Wonder said: Can't imagine people feel a need to go to oak island as 200 years of digging have proven oak island is the longest running hoax in history. No, I'm not calling it a treasure hoax. That could lead to a defamation lawsuit. I would really be surprised if they found treasure, but then most treasure finds are surprising. I think I know where they should look.   Attachments 277166334_535049424650667_2346180389188417425_n.jpg 32.2 KB · Views: 113 Reactions: Beachlover, Radon, PetesPockets55 and 4 others gazzahk Bronze Member Nov 14, 2015 1,684 2,502 Primary Interest: All Treasure Hunting May 19, 2022 #20 goldnsilver said: No, I'm not calling it a treasure hoax.
