On the second page of the original document released by the CIA it is mentioned that "the resulting conclusions do not do any violence to the fundamental mainstream of either western or eastern belief systems." My belief is that page 25 was proven to be too dangerous to religious beliefs, so it was hidden. Everythings 3 6h44m Sure this isn’t faked? Voqals 9 2h53m I have a personal experience after using the gateway process and it kind of scared me after which I stopped using it but I’m thinking of trying it again I had been using the gateway processed almost every day for approximately 2 to 3 hours a day. I have my own office and I have a lot of privacy so I was doing it at work and even at home before bed. Overtime I started to feel strange feeling like I was being watched or it was in the presence of something. I didn’t feel scared and I was fine but I couldn’t sleep at night because it just felt like I was being looked at. One night I’m laying in my bed and I swear to God I feel like something is staring right at me so I jumped right up and turned my head and I swear to God I’m not making this up this is so fucking real I saw a white orb and then it zipped away. The next day I saged my room And I turned on readings of the Bible and the Koran and sprayed my walls with holy water. After that day I didn’t touch The gateway process. This was about January 2019 It really tripped me out. Occams-shaving-cream 8 7h4m There are entities, we can sometimes call them accidentally or on purpose. Until it happens to a person, they can’t really understand or believe it. I no longer question God because of one that I met by accident, but due to my exploring things I should not have. I was reading a lot and thinking a lot about occult mystery societies, what the real secrets where and how they worked. Not in the sense that I was trying to practice it, but in the sense of understanding how and why they can achieve what they apparently can. I was also in a dark place mentally and wished ill on some people in my life for utterly banal reasons in the scheme of things. Anyway, one evening I was considering these things and happened to walk through, mentally, what to do if I wanted to attempt to harm a specific person using the method of the occult mysteries, I thought about it step-by-step and a few parts of it came to me out of the blue but mentally I could tell it was exactly correct. Mind you I never did any of it, nor did I have any intention to do so. The situation was the same as when one might fantasize, in the evening, about beating up some villain or telling off a boss. Well, to make it short, that night I had a “dream” that was not a dream and was visited by what I can only describe as a demon. The presence, when fully revealed was revolting beyond comprehension (revolting being used to encompass utter fear, disgust, anxiety, etc. no one emotion was so much recognizable but an overwhelming desire to be away from it). When tempted with moral/amoral acts in the interaction before it revealed its true self, I repeatedly chose to act morally without realizing what was going on. This angered it and caused its revelation and questioning me why “I was there” (in its presence). I assume that it did not appreciate being falsely called. Three times, in three different “dreams” I fought to call the Lord’s Prayer through sewn mouth or drowning before I escaped it for good. GirlAnachronism509 2 8h24m You banished it, yeah? OoptyOop 5 9h23m I saw a white orb and then it zipped away. The next day I saged my room And I turned on readings of the Bible and the Koran and sprayed my walls with holy water. Someone with a different upbringing and spirtual background will interpret that same white orb of light you saw as an angel, or their version of "God". Let's say they had the vision voluntarily through meditation, chanting, and drumming, something that can arguably achieve the same result as hemi sync and has been done for thousands of years. Or, even an involuntarily experience, due to a combination of sleep deprivation, fasting, and/or other factors. If this happens to someone who's well respected in their community thousands of years ago, they likely attract followers, and start a religion. Today, we'd lock that person in a room with padded walls and medicate them, because we have no science or methodology to disseminate actual mystical or religous experiences from, hallucinations, legitimate mental health issues, etc.. "Altered states of consciousness" doesn't really suffice or provide much of an answer to the experiencer. So, it's back on them to find a better explanation. Human beings are flawed and bias though, because of our backgrounds and personal experiences. So in the end, its a giant paradox. Food for thought. Today, we'd lock that person in a room with padded walls and medicate them. We have no science or methodology to disseminate actual mystical or religous experiences from, hallucinations, legitimate mental health issues, etc. It's entirely on us to do that. Human beings are flawed and bias, because of our backgrounds and personal experiences. In the end, its a giant paradox. freaknastyxphd 2 8h3m what is the gateway process? i remember reading journeys (given to me by my uncle) when i was in high school. i tried the counting backwards visioning a ring moving down my body. its been a while, but i think i remember what felt like the cells of my body were vibrating and it scared me, so i never tried it again. i remember he got me into the casey (sp) stuff and hemi sync and all sorts of 'out there stuff'. TheRadChad 1 9h54m I’ve been seeing a white light flash by me in circle (like the reflection of a watch from sunlight). Happens at random times and raises the hairs in my neck. Never seen an actual orb though. Wonder if it’s similar. PurpleCannaBanana 0 11h30m This has happened to me a few times very recently. Not the same feeling as catching a reflection, it’s off. thisisbonkersmayng 1 21h3m Peace will be with you in Christ Jesus friend Reddit-Book-Bot -2 2h54m Beep. Boop. I'm a robot. I'm not sure the rest on there are the full program either. The monroe institute still sell the whole thing i think. There must be a full free online somewhere. There are a few other hemi-sync on their you tube like this one https://youtu.be/HHshOvzERHQ although it is very similar to the others. VapourEyes333 3 7h22m . -innersight- 7 10h38m I'm reading a lot of paranoid comments here about the Gateway Process and the Occult. A person really should read "Journey's Out of the Body" before attempting the Gateway Experience, it explains quite clearly what is occurring and what can happen while a person is deepening their focus level. Robert Monroe had many bizarre experiences, some terrifying, but never did he experience harm nor did he go through psychological torment (although some experiences did exhaust him). The only danger in doing any of this is what is in a man's heart, this I do believe. What manifests is what you called for and how you react will dictate the experience. It fits the rest of the document appropriately! demonspawns_ghost 3 4h30m This seems like a very good way to hypnotize people and implant subconscious messages into their brains. I wonder if the Vegas shooter was a student at the Monroe Institute. humanefly 4 9h22m That is what the process is: it is a form of self hypnotization and dream programming. It is possible to induce a sense of "hyper reality" in which dreams seem even more real than the real world. It seems like astral projection is really "popular" among new age enthusiasts but the reality is that it's entirely a distraction and an internal experience; nothing experienced in the dream world is part of this shared reality. People who go down this path often get so attracted to the experience, and they want to believe (unconsciously often because they have problems dealing with the real world) so they make the choice to value their dreams as much as the real world. The Monroe Institute is most likely a CIA psy-op. There are also new age cults who use similar processes to prey on vulnerable people. Some of these cults are in fact very dangerous. I am highly alarmed at the popularity of this topic in this sub. Many people who believe in these things are simply weak minded but there are also predators, grifters, con men, cultists and there is often the CIA or other three letter agencies lurking. The conspiracy here is not: "is astral travel a part of our shared reality" (it is not; most people can train themselves to have this experience; yes hyper reality can be very convincing) the question is: what is the motive for the CIA in propagating this disinfo? Caution is very highly recommended. This sort of mental manipulation can lead to different forms of mental and emotional instability. Do not just blindly accept this information or seek to reproduce certain experiences just because you have read about it on the internet. Do not just believe what you see or what you experience in the dream state, or accept it as real; it is possible to self program dreams. Accepting everything you see or experience in this highly suggestible state is highly unwise; for some it leads to a peculiar kind of madness from which they may never return. Govern yourselves accordingly, Ill-Nefariousness-78 1 12h19m I have never astral projected. I do not have the ability to manifest images in my mind. All my thoughts are in words, and emotions. DMT though... that seems to cause a subjective experience of an objective place. I think this is kinda how they experience the astral realm. From my study I have long suspect astral projection was an inward experience. DMT is absolutely not. Sure it's possible that there is no universal connection. But without it, there is a major lack of explanation as to why even without prior knowledge of DMT, people have relatively the same experience. the same message is delivered over and over. People who never heard others DMT stories, recite the same experience. The same gateway. They even described the language these entities speak the same way. "You could see it, like you could snatch language right out of the air and examine it for all its meaning." humanefly 2 14h16m There is an explanation for the experience of DMT, however, DMT users unanimously reject the explanation. However I do not believe they reject it for any scientific reasoning; they reject it based on the experiences they have while under the influence of the drug. It is my position that all experience in real life is mediated via neurotransmitter. Let's take pain as an example. The experience of pain is mediated via neurotransmitter; it can be blocked via neurotransmitter modification (nortriptyline, opiates, painkillers) and it can also be reproduced via neurotransmitter. The experience of pain, when reproduced via neurotransmitter is so identical to the experience of pain created due to tissue destruction or other physical harm that the recipients or people with chronic pain disorders can not tell the difference, between pain which is purely 100% faulty neurotransmitters, and pain which is caused 100% by physical damage, with the resulting emission of neurotransmitters. The reason people in chronic pain can not tell the difference is because THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE. That is what pain is; that is what all experiences are. There are specific neurotransmitters that can be emitted to create an experience of "hyper reality" and this can happen without taking any drugs. For example, people who experience sleep paralysis, or near death experiences often report that they felt hyper aware or the event felt hyper real; this is quite commonly reported, in fact: people who experience sleep paralysis often report that the experience was more real and authentic than normal consciousness. They often perceive beings and most cultures across the world have their own interpretation, and the experience is often described in very similar ways: a night hag, witch, demon, ghost or spirit holds down the victim or chokes them, or presses down making it hard to breath. People who experience such events come away convinced that there was a real being which exists in our shared reality; however there is no scientific consensus that any such being actually exists. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_hag So when people who take DMT often report similar or even identical experiences, this should be of no particular surprise; they are modifying their neurotransmitters in a very specific way. It is expected that many people would report similar experiences. It is most certainly possible for neurotransmitters to create a "hyper real" "more real than reality" experience. It seems to me that it's just as likely that the experience is induced via neurotransmitter experience and it is an internal experience only. It seems like it's a far more likely explanation than the idea that DMT is some sort of alien telephone or communication device. Now, magic mushrooms on the other hand: those are definitely alien communication devices. I actually know someone who had some sort of experience that to me sounds very much like DMT, however I believe he was actually drugged or induced to take the DMT by a cult as a way to create an experience that they could use to gain control over him, but he completely refuses to talk about the incident at all. He has never been the same since: he had some kind of breakdown, his marriage fell apart, he lost his job and is a completely different person and I don't mean that in a good way. This is not to imply that DMT is necessarily bad in any way, but I have a rule of thumb: If it can heal the brain, it can break the brain. Some people have reported similar kinds of experiences on LSD, in which an event that can not be explained occurs and multiple people had the same or shared experience. Simply experiencing an event, or experiencing an event which "feels" hyper real may change a person permanently; however, it is not in and of itself proof of anything. Our neurotransmitters and senses are quite capable of lying to us, even without DMT. Ill-Nefariousness-78 2 2d14h39m Ive only ever experience surrealism in both lucid and hallucinatory states. DMT was soo different from the others. It didnt lay a finger on me, it didnt cause any confusion. And the experience itself, cant be put into words. It's a little more clear that we live in a type of hologram more and more everyday. A 3 dimensional really is created via a 2 dimensional vibration. You've never in fact "touched" anything, only sensing forcefields of energy, that your brain interprets as touch. The Universe is much more strange than anyone has ever thought possible. 10 mins of research into the quantum universe and you'll realize that. Which... I suspect you already know. As you are quite well written. Some of this isnt even up for debate. Did you know when you isolate one part of reality from the rest so that it no longer interacts tong with anything, it litterally enters two separate states at the same time? https://physicsforme.com/tag/aaron-oconnell/ Just because it doesnt have any other interactions to deal with, it finds a way to interact with itself. I know this doesnt necessarily apply to the DMT experience, but... it might turn out to more than we realize. If the Universe is nothing but vibrating strings, of energy, or even a projection of a 8 dimension object, as the Quantum Gravity Group requires, doesnt that open things open for influences we do not yet know of? Every new theory that comes out nowadays requires more dimensions than we currently know exist. All I'm saying is there is obviously more going on here than we care to admit. The moment you admit you've never actually touched anything you have to realize that..
