Now, we have the JPost 50 – a new list of the world’s wealthiest Jews (as compiled by The Jerusalem Post). Their net worth ranges from Larry Ellison’s $28 billion to Leonard Stern’s $3.6 billion. Some of the fifty are self-made billionaires, others built their wealth on family fortunes. The names of business they’ve established are familiar to many: Oracle, Dell and Facebook from the high-tech world; Mango, Polo and Top Shelf from the world of retail. They reside around the world – Hong Kong, Moscow, Mumbai, New York, Paris and more. Their places of birth, even more diverse. Many, but not all, support Israel related and Jewish causes.
