This new event will provide an athletic outlet for young people ages 10 to 17 through shooting accuracy on goal competition designed for players to demonstrate their skills. State Hockey Challenge Chairman Jerry Poirer will bring the Hockey materials for this event which will be used in the SMM Gymnasium and he will direct the event. Read More Knights of Columbus Emerald Coast Council #11893 2022 It's Fish Fry Friday Destin, Florida – The Emerald Coast Council of the Knights of Columbus #11893 held "2022 It's Fish Fry Friday" in a different location this year. The 4 Fish Frys were held at Resurrection Catholic Church Parish Hall in Miramar Beach, FL in 2022. THIS IS A CHANGE from previous years when they were held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church Parish Hall in Destin, FL for many years. Corpus Christi has an exciting expansion and renovation for the church that is underway creating the need to utilize the Parish Hall for Mass and all parish events during the project. Fish Frys were held on January 14, 28 and February 11, 25. Over 1,700 dinners were sold. This was a Southern Fish Fry – complete with "all the fixins." The cost was $12 ($6 for children 6-12).
