When you enter a very dark environment with very little ambient infrared light from the sky, you can use a built-in illuminator for casting extra infrared light on your targets and make images brighter. To free your hands for other tasks, you can attach the biocular to a fully adjustable headgear. The headgear fits your head or helmet and provides a flip-up adapter for moving the biocular in and out of your line of sight on demand. This NVD is outfitted with a weather-resistant polymer body that can withstand extreme temperatures.
