No wonder this guy was jailed. Years before the ease of digital video came along, here is a program that's logical, well put together, good edits, interesting footage. Has the IHR ever made anything like this? I don't think so. Yet Zundel himself could make an excellent program like that. However some of that interesting footage was an IHR conference so some credit is due to the IHR there. I think this video could offer some constructive guidance to Mark Weber and the IHR. Compare this with Weber's "Holocaust Remembrance video" Which camera placement distance and angle looks better? Which background and background lighting looks better? What comes across better: looking at the camera when speaking or reading off a paper? Can edits to interesting footage spice things up? You look at the Zündel video and find that the answer is "yes." I appreciate what Weber tried to do with the "Holocaust Remembrance" video but I hope he takes a look at this Zundel video and gets some guidance from it to apply to the next video he makes. That was a truly interesting 1/2 hour program. I wish it had been put on the web sooner though. Stuff this good shouldn't be languishing on a vhs tape in a box somewhere. It should all be on the web. Here is a reply which I got with regards to the issue:Dear Mr. [DELETED] -We have an entire room full of audios (thousands of them) and videos(maybe 500) but they are not sorted or catalogued since they wererescued from Canada. I just haven't had the time, just as youguessed, and won't have the time for the next couple of years. Why is he loved by so many - and equally demonized and vilified by others? Well, I'm one of those that love him. I've seen a few Zundle videos before but I reckon these three take the cake. Zundel impresses me no end. His honesty and integrity shine through like the sun, his sincerity and passion can not be doubted. No wonder he's in jail. We can't have too many folk like Ernst Zundel roaming the earth. The place would be a paradise in no time. This guy is in jail for just telling me, what he just told me, on the videos, nothing more, nothing less. Im not bothered if what he said was true or not. I just love the way he said what he said. They imprisoned him for that. It's just an added bonus that what he said was true. I never thought I would ever see a real martyr. I thought that was something we only read about, somewhere way back in history. But here we have one, a real fair um martyr. He has joined the ranks of Galileo for sure. And as sure as the sun is in the centre, there was no holocaust. Future generations will see him in their history books, a martyr for the truth. Someday all the world will appreciate what he has done. And equally, those who demonized and vilified him, the persecutors of the righteous. They too will go down in history, oh wait... they're already there, same old same old, I guess nothing ever changes for them. There was no holocaust. I pray that YouTube won't be draconian and ban these videos like they did with denierbud's One Third of the Holocaust. I've sent them several letters about it, expressing my grievances. I doubt they'll do anything about it though. That's so incredibly progressive and such a class act move on the part of Zündel. But David Cole is also super impressive: we see that he's so young. Yet he's able to enter this place (Auschwitz) which has so much emotionality, so much power. But he relies on his ability to think, in order to break the myth and thus the power that this place has. I'm not sure but I think before knowing Cole, Zündel was friends with Gynsburg, who was also Jewish and had revisionist leanings. I understand where you are coming from, because banning them will deny them to other viewers, however there are alternatives. Youtube isn't the be all & end all of user created video hosting, it just happens to be the best known. these are just a few, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_sharing_websites The trick is not to let the videos disappear from the net altogether So having a copy & being able to upload it onto another video sharing site is the key to spreading the message. Here's how you can do this, you can download the video off of say.... "Spewtube", as an .flv (flash video), convert it to an .avi or mpeg or whatever & then upload it to another video service. In order to download the video, you need to grab the video url from "Spewtube", paste it to this site : http://www.youtubex.com/ & simply right click & save as when prompted, remember to change the file extension to .flv. Then you need a program such as Total Video Converter to change it from an .flv to your preferred video format & then either keep for personal viewing or upload for sharing, (I haven't ever tried directly uploading an .flv directly to a video sharing site without prior conversion, it may be possible??) Isn't it a bit complicated not at all, I guarantee that once you've converted your first video, you'll wonder why you hadn't heard about this before now. Great point that Cole brought up here in video 3, being the doors on the alleged gas chamber. He worked the lever on the Auschwitz Krema I door and explained how the doors on the alleged gas chambers as Majdanek were cut on the inside to appear as if no lever were on the inside to open the doors. (See below photo) I've Googled some pics of the doors at both Majdanek and Mauthausen and it would seem that in the pictures of Majdanek that Cole is correct. However, Mauthausen photos are dark and largely unrevealing. Does anyone have more info on the topic of the doors themselves? It seems that this topic is understudied, or perhaps Im just looking in the wrong places. I haven't read it in so long I forgot that it mentioned Mauthausen. Cole noticed things about it that I hadn't even noticed. Cole had a good eye for things. I re-read that retraction statement of his. How anyone can take that trash seriously is beyond me. The JDL has a track record of harassment and worse. Even former JDL head Victor Vancier called Irv Rubin a monster.
