Outside of my body, I was flying between memories in my life, witnessing my mother singing to me as a baby, playing the guitar to my friends in high school, humming in the Utah canyons or in a Colorado hot spring. Throughout these visions a melody and words were repeating, “Oh this is it, and it’s all it’s gonna be, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, found you again.” This song wove through my entire life thus far, leaving a clear message, that this was all one deep breath. That this human experience is all at once, that every goodbye is temporary and the moments where love comes clearly to the surface are sacred. Years later, I held on to this melody and these words, convinced they were only in my head and singing them aloud might spoil their significance. One night, in the comfort and safety of my bandmates' presence, I sang them aloud. The girls joined in and ushered the song into this world. It became a mantra to us, translating the words for our friends in Brazil and on occasion ending shows with it as a closing prayer.” - Madeleine Lyrics listen on spotify BECOME A PATRON  Gain exclusive access toNEW TRACKS • EXCLUSIVE CONTENT • SCHEDULED DROPS • SPECIAL EDITION MERCH • VIDEO SERIES • COLLABORATIONS • SHOWS • DISCOUNTS AND MORE JOIN PATREON “A Quartet’s Mission to Inspire withMusic from around the World”East Austin Magazine Up-and-Coming Musicians Breaking Barriers in AustinTribeza Artist of the Month: The musical map of Ley LineAustin 360 “Ley Line Is Bringing Their Own World Music To Austin”Almost Real Things 'Couch By Couchwest': Standouts Of SXSW's All-Digital Music FestivalBob Boilen NPR “Their intention on connection manifests as much musically as aesthetically, harmonies and styles weaving in subtle patterns like a world tapestry of shared myths and sounds.” -Austin Chronicle more SUBSCRIBE Stay up to date with all things Ley Line Email Address Sign Up You’re in!
