Remembering Jewish Expulsions From The Middle East

On November 30, Ynet reported on Likud Minister Gila Galiel's efforts to raise awareness of the Jewish expulsions from Middle Eastern countries around the time of Israel's founding in 1948. While Jewish expulsions from Europe are well known and recognized in Israeli society and the world, the expulsions and mass exoduses from the Middle East are not as acknowledged in the country.
