Archbishop Elpidophoros of America presented to the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew the deepest respects and best wishes of His flock in America, on the occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of his election and enthronement as Ecumenical Patriarch.
On behalf of the faithful, the Archbishop of America presented the Patriarch with a custom set of Hierarchal Engolpia. The Patriarch, thanking the faithful of America for this kind gesture, said with satisfaction that he would wear them in the Divine Liturgy on the coming Sunday of Orthodoxy.
