What happened to the SS OURANG MEDAN? Which is an unsolved mystery still today. Which is projected like deadliest ghost ship in history. The ship which took lot of people lives. The ship which shows deadly deaths of the crew. There are lot of theories and lot of stories behind it. Each story shows each solution. But it is just an imagination of that author. Some people made gossips about that ship. But, still now there is no particular solution for SS OURANG MEDAN.

In June 1947, the Dutch freighter SS OURANG MEDAN was travelling along the straits of Malacca, suddenly, the ship send a chilling distress signal. “All officers, including the captain, are dead. Lying in chartroom and bridge. Possibly whole crew dead”. This was the distress signal/ message which was sent out by the message and this was the first message. This first message followed by lot of Morse code sequences until finally, a last ominous transmission: “I DIE”.

 Ourang Medan’s grim SOS (save our ship) was picked by British and Dutch listening posts around Sumatra and Malaysia, who are worked together and determined the signal location and alerted nearby ships.  

An American merchant ship Silver Star was first ship reached the SS OURANG MEDAN and send a signal with a vessel and shouted for a response from the OURANG MEDAN. But there is no response from the OURANG MEDAN instead of that there was eerie silence. Silver Star decided that there was something wrong and send a signal to rescue team. Rescue team alerted and enter in to the OURANG MEDAN. Rescue team were shocked and scared because there were horrific dead bodies of Dutch crew and the ship floor with blood and the bodies of the crew was frozen. Every body in the crew with a type of expression even captain of the ship had same expression which was shock to the rescue team. It looks like dead ship leading by the dead captain. 

The ship named as ghost ship in history. And this case was unsolved still now. The ship has lots of stories, each version shows different type of solution. This is the biggest conspiracy in history. And someone said that it happened in 1948 instead of 1947. And someone made gossips and spread blind faith among people. There are different theories. Among them there are interesting theories, they are: 

Theory 1: it was a cover up

The OURANG MEDAN is a ghost ship which was not in the records. There is no proof that it even existed. There are no records about the ship in DUTCH shipping records in Amsterdam. The maritime Authority of Singapore also doesn’t have the ill-fated ship in any of their records.

But someone believe and says that the high officials removed all the records. Because OURANG MEDAN is linked to army unit 731 founded by Japanese bacteriologist Shiro Ishii, whose main objective to bring back a weapon of the chemical, gas or biological variety, that could win the war in their favour.

But as the Geneva protocol of 1925 the chemical and biological weapons are not allowed war. So, maybe there is a chance of idea to hide their secret they may be used in OURANG MEDAN which spread like an unsolved case and That makes a death of OURANG MEDAN Dutch crew.  

Theory 2: it was carbon monoxide poisoning 

American author and inventor of the term Bermuda Triangle, Vincent Gaddis, speculates that it was carbon monoxide poisoning is the answer to the death of the OURANG MEDAN crew. According to his theory, burning fuel from malfunctioning boiler system produced carbon monoxide fumes that poisoned the crew.

 Theory 3: it was pirates

 May be there was a chance that pirates attacked the crew because there were no wounds on the dead bodies. There was a chance of surprise attacks on ships using it as the trade route to China and Europe.

Theory 4: GHOSTS 

The bodies are frozen about 110 degrees F and everybody have a different expression of death may be there was a chance of attacked by ghosts.  

Theory 5: Aliens 

Alien theory was one of the most popular theory and which was linked and explained about the OURANG MEDAN theory. May be there was a chance of attack of aliens on that ship which was uncreative. Of course, there are horrific deaths of crew so there was a chance of attack of aliens. 

There are lot of theories on the SS OURANG MEDAN but there is no solution for OURANG MEDAN among these theories. In 1959, CIA release a document on the SS OURANG MEDAN saying, that the OURANG MEDAN holds the key to many of the sea’s mysteries, including that of sightings of huge fiery spheres that come from the sky and descend into the sea, then, it’s certainly a hoax worth retelling. 

This is the unsolved mystery of SS OURANG MEDAN. One of the top mysteries in the history and one of the top conspiracies in history. Which I researched and was inspired from some articles.
