LOS ANGELES (LALATE) – Golfer Erica Blasberg’s suicide note was revealed by news today. Erica Blasberg’s suicide death and the case around Thomas Hess were re-examined during an ESPN Wednesday news broadcast. As reported on LALATE in December last year, Hess pleaded guilty to obstruction charges in Blasberg’s death. Thomas Hess had hid Blasberg’s suicide note and prescription medications after her death and before police arrived. Once he finishes one year of probation, Hess’s misdemeanor count will be dismissed.
Today, Erica’s final words about golf were detailed.
“I have tried to end my life many times in last few months” the 25 year old golfer wrote. “Now in my life I feel empty as if I have no one”. As to her golf career she said “I know to some, it is a dream. To me it’s torture.”

“While asphyxia was the primary cause of death, the presence of prescription [substances] in Ms. Blasberg’s system was a significant factor,” Clark County, Nevada’s Coroner Michael Murphy said in a statement in fall last year.
Blasberg had endorsements which included G-Shock watches.

So young, so beautiful, so sad. I wish I had known her to make a difference. I’ve attempted suicide and lived. I understand her pain. I wish I could have helped in some way. Suicide is never the answer.
