Cell tower on Deering High roof undergoes tests after fish die in classroom
Authorities say the likelihood of a link is remote, but Portland school officials want to know if radio frequency levels are elevated, particularly in Room 305.
A U.S. Cellular tower has been installed at Deering High School in Portland since 2006. Concerns from some teachers at the school have prompted the superintendent to hire a contractor to test the radio frequency emissions from the tower.
