The sun can be seen to shine up onto the bottom of clouds at sunrise or sunset. That observation destroys the flat earth model. The spotlight sun employed by the flat earthers to attempt an explanation for night makes it even more absurd for the bottom of clouds to be lit up. I mean, a sun hovering around above the clouds, and its a fucking spotlight, obviously being above the clouds makes the feat impossible, but its a spotlight, so it really should only be shinning light downward right, that's why it doesn't illuminate the whole flat disk at once. Ships disappearing over the horizon proves the earths curvature. Flat earthers have never actually disproven this. What they have done is given deceptive videos. The videos show that the unzoomed camera could not pick up the ship, upon zooming, the ship suddenly appears and grows larger, just as one would expect when zooming in on any object. What the videos do NOT show, is the ship, partially obstructed, become less obstructed as the camera zooms in. Without that crucial part, the video is not showing what it claims to show. The naked eye, when viewing the ship go over the horizon, WILL see the bottom of the boat obstructed.
