>>31154977>if it wasn't it'd be consistently visible all day everydayyou're a literal retard
here’s an experiment you can do right now to show exactly how retarded that response actually was. Go to the weather app in your phone. Scroll down until you see the section titled
>VISIBILITYIt will literally tell you how many miles you should be able to see given the weather conditions in your area. Your visibility is affected by many factors including humidity, precipitation, time of day, etc..
...now do you see the issue.?.. Why would you think you can see the exact same distance every day regardless of atmospheric condictions? atmospheric conditions are a limiting factor.
You can see thru one pane of glass but stack 100 next to eachother and you cannot see thru them. Under water in a large swimming pool you cannot see to the other end even tho the water is clear.
The problem with the globular model of earth is, as stated already:
>>31149675>a spherical earth necessitates a GEOMETRIC HORIZON, not an APPARENT HORIZON. an optical horizon dependent on atmospheric conditions caused by refraction is literally exactly what we would expect to see on a flat earth, and it is exactly what we DO see. a spherical earth with a given radius of 3959 miles, on the other hand, would necessitate a limit to how far we could see regardless of atmospheric conditions and/or refraction.>the phenomenon of a moving visual horizon known as atmospheric refraction has never been shown to take an object hidden behind a curve and bring it back into view; webm related. watch this and educate yourself on how refraction actually works:https://i.4cdn.org/wsg/1645582446144.webm
