As a Christian whose Christian faith is the primary reason that I couldn't care less if earth is flat, round, cylindrical or conical, can you give me a reason for why I should? These claims about the lies of evolution and others depending on a "globular" earth, is bologna. Nor do I have any more trouble with dismissing one more than the other, alone or united they mean nothing to me. I fear that many Christians, in an effort to defend against the threats of deception, make the huge error of digging and scratching for knowledge and thereby are turning from the Spirit of God to worry themselves with the carnal things they desire to know, the same thing Adam did. Think about it, the "lie", the "deception", is taking those who are seeking wisdom in this world by a snare, not those who are not of the world and are only passing through another's land. When you truly stand in the light, all darkness is manifestly obvious, there is no need to even think about it, much less search for it. But when you are in a dark place you have mistaken for light, you will be fooled by the contrast which gives the appearance of darkness surrounding you. When in fact, by searching for the darkness to identify it, identifying darkness by darkness, you have lost sight of the true light, any lesser darkness now seems as bright as any light. You CANNOT avoid deception by learning the things of the liar just as you must seek out the light, not darkness. To find the light negates the need to meddle in Satan's kingdom. But if one seeks to recognize darkness, he cannot keep his eye on the light and the only guide he has is contrasting levels of darkness with darker and darker places becoming always brighter and brighter, and one is convinced beyond all doubt he is pointing to the darkness while standing in the light even though he knows, if he considers, he stopped seeking the light of God's face long ago. This is that darkness in men which has become their light which Jesus warned about. Turn around. You don't dig in garbage to find something to expose as "trash" to those who don't know. Would you dig in mud to search for something you could demonstrate as dirty? Why then are you digging in the darkest trash of Satan's world to find something a little off? What would you think of someone who dabbles in drugs in an effort to distinguish for you which ones are poisonous? Or a man who thinks he can find his keys easier in exactly the same level to which the room is darker because they are silver? Silver and light are closer in color than silver and black. That's true isn't it? Think about this, it is impossible to walk in light while looking into darkness. When you are in the true light, you have no need to consider anything else, you can't see darkness because of looking in the light. If this doesn't make a difference, you either don't understand it, don't want to accept the truth, or there is probably nothing outside of yourself and the Shephard who's lost you, that can open your eyes. God help you who are in the very depths of deception and convinced you are bringing light to others by exposing lies, when you are yourself in bondage to lies.
