Christmas time is in full swing in Baker City and Santa’s helpers have been working full time.

Among those helpers, the Baker City Police recently brought a gift to the Beard family.

Stephanie Beard was told Sunday night, Dec. 18, that police found her stolen Bigfoot statue, which was taken from her porch in late November.

She didn’t know who took it but said it was possibly related to other robberies and the officers recognized the statue.

“I’m super thankful,” Beard said.

The statue will be returned after it has been processed as evidence.
